O'Line is their biggest problem on offense. Pass protection has been much better today than last week. Today the interior is not getting pushed back as much. There have actually been a few nice pockets for Colt. This is an upgrade today and it still has been poor
How about hiring a respected personnel guru to act as GM and be the architect of the team? You know, someone who actually knows what the heck they are doing. Someone who has a real philosophy on team building and will stick to it.
Then, replace the ENTIRE scouting department and double its size.
Bring in Front Office people from other WINNING organizations. For heaven's sake, just don't stand pat!
Make DAMN SURE we have a Front Office to be admired.
If you have a way to do it, Colt's speed in the pocket is the difference. He just gets the ball out faster. He (mostly) set up in the pocket better. That's why his protection looks better.
I don't see any favoritism. I see Griffin not able to play in Gruden's pocket any better than he played in Shanahan's. Just not a pocket player. It happens. Not everybody can do it. 1st round picks fail where undrafted players and 6th round picks succeed.
