Stubborn refusal to run it on 3rd and short. Inexcusable.

And you go for it? Gruden is a freaking moron. You absolutely HAVE to have points there and momentum going into the half, and you get the ball back first second half. Inexcusable. Can't win big with a coach like this, people. Ain't gonna happen. EVER

That's BS. He had Ravens in his face before he could even get to his second read. Pass blocking is horrible today. The ball has to come out after that long. Again pay attention to the game, he hit his back step and his first read was covered. He didn't have time to get to the second read. That's bad pass blocking not on cousins.

I just don't get going heavy jumbo in short yardage. There just is very little room with all the congestion. Why don't we spread them out then run it.

Why in the hell must they telegraph their plays? Spread them out and then try a run.

is the wind that bad that neither coach is willing to kick FGs? Harbough went for a fake and we go for a 4th &1 instead ?

Is Jay just a moron orwhat? Close game, take the points. Im sure wind had something to do with it but a run play vs one of the best run D in the nfl. This guy is a moron. These gaffs don't go away because we won the past two weeks. What a joke of a decision.

Ravens are afraid to punt to Crowder, with good reason
their ST coverage teams are leaky

You know what sucks??
The Ravens are at best an 8-9 win team this year. We're making them look like the 2000 Ravens.
KC needs to step it up. As do Gruden and McVay.

Gruden simply has not matured in his decision making during games. Almost every week there are major gaffes that are inexcusable. That last possession was totally indicative of why the guy doesn't possess the ability to be the answer for us as HC. Give him (and coaches like him) all the talent in the world, and they may very well make plenty of playoff appearances, but in the end they will always fail on those kinds of things that you need from a HC to put you over the top. It's more than Xs and Os. Year 3 and he's still inept with stuff like this.

D has done its job. Unfortunately playcalling inside the 30 once again has been atrocious. Why do we keep throwing low % passes on 3rd and 1?

This should be a one point game right now. Gruden just took 3 points away from us. Prepare for him in the post game presser to say he has to do a better job coaching and making decisions. Heck, just record it and that way you have it to play again and again over his tenure here, ala Norv.

What a joke, I get the wind but going for it on 4-1 with a guy like Hopkins who is basically automatic from that distance was simply inexcusable. If we win this game it will be despite the coaching and the other teams failure to execute. Who does Gruden think he is?

watching this game is frustrating AF... how many times can we pass on 3rd & 1?

I think about Mike Singultary's quote when I think about our coaching staff: "Can't win with them. Won't do it. Can't do it. Don't want 'em."
So sick of Gruden's inept coaching. I'm sorry, but an overall pretty good O coordinator isn't nearly enough in a HC. I think some people get too caught up in the Xs and Os of Gruden and McVay and lose sight of the fact that our HC routinely gets out-coached or simply overthinks critical situations, turning them into failures. Gruden has had plenty of time now to demonstrate that is more the norm than not since he's been here. Can't employ people like that. Not if you have aspirations of going to SBs like Snyder and Scot do. If you're content to make routine playoff appearances without much to show for it, ala Cinci, then that is another thing.

Yes. He also had a tipped pass earlier. More plays than in all his games so far combined. Hopefully this will get him going. He's totally in my dog house right now. Mine too. He's done nothing all season.

We refuse to throw beyond the sticks on 3rd. That was Norv's philosophy.

Cousins is the definition of mediocre today. And really, all season.

We're gonna need our defense and/or special teams to make a big play. The only thing working on offense today are those short passes to Jordan Reed.

So the Defense shows up today, but the geniuses that are Gruden and McVay can't counter the punch that the Ravens' D has thrown them. Thus, we can't play as a complete team. Again.
How typical.
