Man, it feels like I just got home from D.C and the Packers game and already another game.
Oh wait, that's true, cuz the NFL screwed us yet again with scheduling!
At any rate, GO SKINS!

Beat me to it ratty. Never too early for a GameDay thread for Dallas week.
Here's hoping our offensive production carries over from last week's juggernaut of a game and our defense plays up to what they are capable of. Dallas will put up points and yards, so to pull off the upset, we will need continue putting up 7 rather than 3.
Here's to an exciting turkey day victory. HAIL!

... if our Defense plays well, we win ... the 'boys will get their points, but our offense is playing well right now ... Dallas has ruined more seasons for me than I care to remember ... which is why each victory is so sweet ... I HATE DALLAS !!

I am getting numerous calls from my family and friends in Texas. They universally are asking us to makes their Thanksgiving complete by knocking the slobberknockers out of Dallas.
Haha, even as I write, my brother, also an EX COWBOYS FAN of which there are Millions In the Lone Star State asked the very same, what with the slobberknocker epithet a family tradition saved to only the most detested opponents. The lucky duck is in the Sports Book at the Wynn Hotel and on the way to shoot craps. He says the line has dropped to Redskins + 6.5.

Just watching the pregame for the Lyings/Vikes game. My family will probably be eating sometime during game time....unfortunately at my home it looks like turkey time will be somewhere during our game. Had the same thing happen back when Robert lead us to a W in dullass on T-day back in '12.
Pretty much everyone I spoke with yesterday...'turd and Skin fans alike...think this will be a pretty high scoring game. I just don't see us shutting down their running game completely with our Dline/ILB matchup against their Oline. Think our O is going to be forced to score and score often. Would love to see several time consuming drives that would eat clock while putting points on the board.
Gonna be a good game....hope to give post-turkey indigestion to all bandwagoneer 'turd fans throughout the States.

I'll be interested to see what we set up in defensively.
Last time out they killed us with their bootleg game.My feeling us we go with a Nickel look but with guys sitting in the short down in the short zones with contain responsibilities.
Hopefully, we rotate our interior DL guys enough for the fatigue not to play a part.
Be prepared to play man on their guys, with Blackmon giving the deep help.

The line has apparently dropped to +5.5pts, the feeling is that one of the big backers has gone with the Redskins to cover at the very least.

Barry will need to call the game of his life and the entire defensive players will have to play their best game of the year. IF this happens, we can win.

Don't think the Admiral of my home would go for that solution, however. Heck, gotta get use out of my dining room...only use it 2-3 times a year anyhow.... But situations like this is why God made cell phones that connect to the internet....

Just go on TV/Radio/Internet silence during the meal, then watch the game in it's entirety after the feast.

'67, that is not a good solution for me, I just don't have that kind of discipline when I know my team is playing. I am "efforting" to get the turkey time pushed up!!

'67, that is not a good solution for me, I just don't have that kind of discipline when I know my team is playing. I am "efforting" to get the turkey time pushed up! It's called will power. I forget the game, but last year I was on the road for work and I had to drive for 8 hours on a Sunday to make sure I was there first thing Monday morning. I listened to an MP3 book on the drive, and avoided TV, Radio, internet, and swore everyone I worked with not to talk about the game. I got home 5 days later, plopped down and proceeded to watch us win. It was torture, but well worth the effort. Listening to a game on the radio, or reading about it just doesn't compare to seeing it with my own eyes. And if I know the score ahead of time (win or lose) it kind of takes the excitement out of watching it later. Now, rewatching a great win that I have already seen, is totally different. I rewatched both the Vikings and GB games yesterday, and thoroughly enjoyed both. During the GB game my wife kept shaking her head when I got all excited when we made a great play. She just doesn't get it.

When it comes to things chocolate, sweets in general, good beer, single malt scotch, cubano cigars....and, of course, Redskins games...I have no will power! Turkey is frying now.....with any luck it will be done and we will have eaten just prior to the opening kick-off!

No surprises with the Redskins inactives today though RB Matt Jones is inactive for a third straight game. The others: LS Nick Sundberg, QB Nate Sudfeld, WR Rashad Ross, OT Blaine Clausell, OG Arie Kouandjio and DL Matt Ioannidis. Per Keim
I know I'm beating on a dead horse, but I rather see Ross active and sit Grant.

Cowboys are hot, but the teams they've beat on their 9 game streak aren't hot at all. In fact, we're the only team over .500 they've beat this year. So, gotta feel good about this one. Definitely the under dog, but they can be beat on any given day. HTTR

Yeah I wont be devastated if we lose. A win would be huge though but even if we lose, were still in that 6 spot.
