Just talent guys.
They have more of it.
We have a highly suspect DC. We have practically nothing in our Front 7. No ILBs of consequence, pass rushers that only sometimes show up, and besides Baker, no real DL to scare anyone. Can't win games like this very often with that kind of non-talent. We have heart, but you gotta have talent, too.
It KILLS me that, in pre game it was Dallas described at the tough-nosed, wear-you-out team, vs. our team that is more of a passing team. WE used to be that tough-nosed team.
I really hope Scot hasn't given up on us having a killer Defense. That last thing I want is for us to be built like the Gruden era Raiders that were all offense and little else. You won't win SBs with that very often.

You would think Sean M would learn by now. That isn"t a good sign. This is the thing that gets me angry time and again. You can't win the really big games with calls like this in the RZ. He has shown little sign of growth here. What good does it do us to play stellar between the 20s if we have an OC that can't call just as smart a game in the RZ? I think Gruden has to look hard at this in the offseason. This just can't go on. It is and will cost us big when we need it most.
Oh, when Dallas saw the one formation with Thompson on the side of Cousins, they expected the same play I did. And got it. that is why they run blitzed up and tackled Thompson for a loss. Predictable. Just like the draw on 2cd and 17 and the wide receiver screen on 3rd and long the net play.

This is what I don't like about West Coast. You don't give your offense an opportunity to wear down an opponent, and because you throw it so much, you give yourself too many chances for a 3 and out or quick possession.
