Guys, it's Norv all over again.
This is the THIRD time this year we have come out absolutely flat in a CRUCIAL, must-have game. That is wholly unacceptable, and it 100% on the head coach. Gruden is Norv-lite. You can spout all this stuff about him "growing" as a HC, but in Year freaking 3, there is no way he should consistently struggle to get his players to come out with major effort and play like the season is on the line, which it is. If you lose, fine. I can deal with that as long as the effort is there.
Boys our guys just can't play big time important games. For some unknown reason they just don't come out and match the other teams intensity! I'm so tired of the crap!! Play like your trying to make the playoffs dang it!

Frankly, If they are going to stink, I want them to stink it up epically.
Force them to HAVE to address the pathetic defense. and that includes defensive coaching as well as play.
How's our offense looking?
Like garbage. Of course.
But they do have talented players there at least.
The failure is as has been mentioned, they ALWAYS come out tight or with no fire whenever it is a primetime game. And "game of the week" qualifies as primetime. That is coaching f they cannot get a fire let under the player's @sses.

This FO needs to hold Gruden accountable for the repeated "no-shows" this year. Maybe that doesn't mean firing him, but he needs to be on the hot-seat. This kind of performance in must-win games is not why he was brought here, and he'll tell you that himself. You can roll up all the stats on O that you want, but what it comes down to is performances in big games like these. Gruden is getting worse in that area, not better.
