It will be interesting to watch Brian Mitchell's utter disgust on the post game show today. (direct 642). One of the first things Gruden will say is: we need to watch the film. No you don't Jay. The only thing you did right today was substitute Johnson. His mobility allowed him to make a few plays. That has been the only positive from this game.
... this sh*ts on Gruden... he's a bad decision-making machine... he's just a better athlete plain and simple... how smart do you have to be... give the better athlete the chance if they're both going to be deficient in the playbook... and then there's the question should you throw Jays playbook in the ******* garbage...

I can't believe I'd write this, but there are a lot of stories out there suggesting that Lincoln Riley is the guy several NFL teams want. Maybe announce today Gruden won't be back and start putting out feelers?
I'm not endorsing the idea — not sure if he's ready for an NFL gig, or even for a college gig without a Heisman-winning quarterback — but it does seem like more concepts of that offense are being used in the NFL, so maybe it's worth a call, especially if he can assemble a staff with veteran coaches like Callahan and ... nobody else on the current staff.
There was a point early in the season, when Washington was 6-3 or so, when some of us — myself included — were laughing about how Oakland is paying Jon Gruden $10 million/year and the Skins have the better one.
When I miss, I miss big. This is a complete train wreck.
A TAUNTING FLAG ON DOCTSON? TAUNTING IN A GAME THAT WAS OVER AT THE KICKOFF?
I started typing out a list of everyone — including coaches and front office personnel — who should be cut, but I have dinner plans and wouldn't be able to finish it.
A few weeks ago when he got that taunting penalty I was livid that he would feel the need to spin the ball in a game we were down when he already had like 3 drops. The guy is Rod Gardner, who would do the stupid first down signal even when we were getting embarrassed.
I think your list would be pretty short. There isn't a single person on this team that needs to stay. Just say "everyone" and call it a night.
That used to be what I said about him just because he played at tcu, and anyone who has seen my endless, rambling posts on here knows high highly I think of that place (hasn't been a worthwhile Frog since Sammy Baugh, and that opinion is based on stories my dad told me, since Baugh played long before I was born).
But that taunting penalty was absolutely inexcusable. Whatever BS excuse he offers up about the guy talking trash or something doesn't matter. You and your team have been getting it handed to you since the anthem, you finally show a hint (a small hint) of life, and now you're flagged for taunting? That is disgraceful.
Doctson one more year on his contract, with a base salary of $1,820,405 and a pro-rated portion of his signing bonus of $1,377,210 for a total of $3,197,615. E-mail every GM in the league with a note saying Doctson goes to the highest bidder the first day trades are allowed.
Coaches talk about fixing culture — that is a perfect example of malfunctioning culture.
Then bring in a hazmat crew to rid the org of the stench and heebie jeebies that have accumulated over the years. OR lose in a similar fashion last few weeks and try to break Snyder’s will so he sells the GD team. Also demolish Fed-Ex. and have a parade to celebrate.
Invite Sean Taylor’s family and coach Gibbs to light the match to burn down stadium and be grandmasters of the parade. Before burning it down, remove the ring of honor for safe keeping and replace with the ring of shame. Induct all the aholes and key events that have infuriated fans. I would like to be the new GM.
