For those that did/couldn't see Jay's post game comments.
Holsey knee spraign, will get MRI
Nsekhe tweeked the knee that has been bothering him..no mention of MRI
Jay talked about going away from the run in the 1st half because the Jags front was stuffing everything. 2nd half they made adjustments to get JJ moving more which opened up some stuff in the passing game and some keepers by JJ.
Was very complimentary on the DL and LBs.
Says he drew up that pass play that Crowder made...laughed a bit...then said they had been putting it on the WRs to make some plays and was very impressed with JCs concentration to make the play.
Says they are optimistic and have been all week. Thinks we still have enough players to challenge for the division.
Was asked about the FB plays, said they had them in the playbook all season, but it wasn't until Flanagan got called up that we had someone to run them other than the short yardage. Said it was good to see him get out there, and Matt got a taste of NFL on his first play...then chuckled a bit. He didn't elaborate, but I assume he must have gotten blown up or something.
Was asked about the end of the game where all of a sudden AD was able to run well on the final drive. Very complimentary on the job the Jags front 7 did all game, but AD made a really good cut on an outside zone run then broke a tackle for a 1st down, then they just kept running right up the middle to burn the clock to set up for the FG, but AD kept moving the ball. Did a really good job of hard nosed running there.
I'm sure I missed some stuff, but that was the jist.
Comments by the post game crew on Jonathan Allen. Apparently there was a players only meeting and Allen has really stepped up. Said he was going to do certain things, then went out today and did what he said he was going to do. They feel he will be wearing a/the Captains patch next season.
Yep....ugly win, but a win nevertheless. Were it not for that ST gaff....and I agree that I saw at least one block in the back....they would have been limited to a couple of FG's.
Titans D is good as well....and their O is far better than the anemic Jags. Lets see if the team can make the final regular season game vs the fecals mean something or not....
Aquí tienes una cancioncilla que escribí Puede que quieras cantarla nota a nota No te preocupes, sé feliz Todos tenemos problemas en la vida Cuando te preocupas, los haces el doble No te preocupes, sé feliz...
cooley47: Goff continues to stink. The D has done their job.

rskin72: The Lambs O just cannot get into sync. Limited rush attack, and Goff is not in any rhythm at all
Feb 3, 2019 20:47:23 GMT -5
rskin72: sooner or later the Lambs D will give...or they will make a big play. Either way the Lambs D right now has to win the game for the team

cooley47: No guarantee you ever get back to this game. Sorry but Goff can’t get it done. McVay should consider getting a veteran QB in offseason.

rskin72: Wow....238 vs 80 yards of offense....

cooley47: And yet only down 3!

rskin72: Gotta be something different that will break a big play. Maybe special teams...
Feb 3, 2019 20:56:07 GMT -5
rskin72: Going quicker now
Feb 3, 2019 20:58:49 GMT -5
rskin72: maybe getting some confidence

SkinsTim: A first round pick for a guy that was terrible last year and his team is ready to move on from? No chance. They'll be luck to get a 2nd or a 3rd. I'd give up a 2nd for him and call it a day.
