My FA targets would be a solid ILB, a safety but probably two, and if I could find someone worthy and again at a contract I could make work a #1 WR.
Draft targets: speed edge rusher, ILB, QB, CB and several OL
Like this scenario, i would prefer the 2019 Draft to be speed rusher Round 1;Guard Round 2, WR or ILB Round 3 with the best available QB taken with the low 3rd rounder.
Sadly i expect AD Peterson to be gone but he would sure help our reliance on a running game.
And for anyone saying use a mid rounder on a Guard- here is rinehart/spencer long/arie kouandijo etc to say you want quality you better draft early.
Tackle Geron Christian is going to be fine next year, isn't he.
You can get very good OLB/DE talent in the Second Round in this Draft. Its very deep at the position. You can not find quality OT help and we have to have a blue chip guy that can learn behind or with (at LG) Trent. Jonah Williams is THAT GUY, but it may be a stretch to see us land him at #15.
The run on OGs will start at the end of Round Two and I am pretty sure it will be done around the middle of Round Three for starting quality Guards. This is a big deal for us and we may have to look at getting s starting LG in Round Two. But I am pretty much certain that this is how it will pan out position-wise with our first 3-4 picks.
