That play was everything about Banks in a nutshell. Incredible explosiveness, but some real stupidity at the end. If the kid gets his head on straight and avoids injury, he could very well be the best returner in the league during his career. He's definitely the only guy i've seen in the past 10 years that is as consistently explosive as Devin Hester, save Dante Hall for that one season

Well, damn. We all know Grossman's limitations. Personally, I was hoping Beck would separate himself and prove to be the guy we've missed for so long. He may be separating himself from Grossman ... but, not in the direction I was hoping for.
Obviously it does not appear Beck has played well, but I'm not sure 1 game out of 4 relegates him to be a bad QB. He looked good the first 3 games.
I think in any case the QB position has a short leash in the regular season. I think that is what this season is for, determine if we have a QB at all. I'm not sure that can be decided simply in preseason given the participants.
So if Grossman looks good in the 2nd half playing with and against PS guys that means he should be the starter. Think it should take a little more than that to cement the role. Granted Grossman has played in regular season games and had success.
