A procedural note: Once MrsM awards you your franchise, please PM me your password of choice for your team's board and I'll set up your security and record it for you. Your password will have no character or case limitations and can be changed as often as you wish with a PM request.

I have had a great time the last few years with the IMD and am happy to be back for another round! My main focus as always is to assist in drafting the best players I can for the Bengals. Along with my usual role as AssistGM to BIGCAT, I would also be available to GM or Assist another team if you need me. Thanks for getting this thing together every year and Good Luck in the Draft! If you guys struggle getting a GM give NCBENGAL a shot, he knows football and more importantly, he will be here ready to make a pick when he's on the clock. I told him last yr. he could take over the Bengals this yr. but this mock is just to fun to pass up. sorry NC. lol I will take your help all day though.

Hello all. Things didn't work out too well with my software plans due to some people who failed to step up. So I wasn't planning on resuming it or returning to Scout.com. However, since the Mrs. was so persistent I'm here to see how I can help out. It's a little late in the game at this point but we've overcome worse. If there aren't enough individuals then we may need to double up on teams. Of course the idea is for every participant to run THEIR favorite team but we'll take what we can get.  It's good to see all of you again. |

Hi all. My first post here is to thank JezCat for the invite. I am from the Cardinals board and it will be my pleasure to represent the Arizona Cardinals in the upcoming mock draft.
I look forward to getting to know you all. I am in Austin Texas right now, but my home is selling next Tuesday and I will be packing and moving to San Diego to live out my remaining years as a Cardinal fan, and Cowboy and Steeler hater. I guess as a Cardinal and Charger fan, I have a distaste for dominating franchises.
This should be fun. I have a good handle and definite ideas of the Cardinals needs and direction they want to go, especially having followed them closely since they moved to Arizona. I invite other Cardinals fans to join me in our war room. I will try to round up some others also.

Good to have you Beware. And it's nice to see Plann and Hiss back again too. It's the hardcore draft fans like you that keep the IMD going.
I've posted a thread on each of the team forums that aren't currently represented to see if I can help get more GMs. I'll check on those periodically for interested persons. Meanwhile, there is basically one month to set this baby up so get your draft teams together and contact any past IMD participants you know from other teams to see if they'd also be interested. If you guys can help fill out just one more team then it helps.
Even though the commishes will be scoring each team's draft based on their NFL counterparts, remember this is all in fun so play fair and be nice. If some other team makes a deal to jump ahead of you and takes your guy then so be it. If that team sneaks in at the last minute and makes a deal with the team you'd been working a trade with for days then so be it. Nothing personal, just business. Laugh it off and move on to plan B.
IMHO those moments are the most exciting ones during the IMD. ;D

Thanks for stepping up guys. It's good to know the Packers will again be spoken for during the IMD. I'm used to an entire squadron of Ravens getting involved with the IMD but you're the only response so far.

Well that still leaves Buffalo, Carolina, Chicago, Denver, Jacksonville, New England, NY Jets, Philly, San Diego, Seattle, St. Louis, Tampa Bay, and Tennessee.
I'm looking into a few of these with possibilities but we will have several teams without GMs for sure. You guys who don't already have a team and want to GM, start looking at these teams just in case we don't find anyone. You'll be the first in line to fill their spots. Then if we still have teams open, either the commishes can run a team or we can give a second team to someone.
