i dunno, I kind of get the feeling that experience bests youth in this contest, I can't see us keeping their receiving corp (with Ben at the helm) under wraps the entire game... but I do expect it will be close.
Usually I would be cautiously optimistic going up against the Steelers. We never play those guys well.
Not today though. RG3 will not let this team lose again, not today. He will do his thing and lead this team to victory. I look for the defense to feed off the offense and put together 4 quarters of solid play. This CAN be a top 10 defense at times...lets start a trend today.
They will not run the ball on us and I dont see them stopping our run game. If they do, they will be the first to do so. When you can run the ball, not turn the ball over, and stop the run...you can win no matter how bad the secondary is.
The best defensive players in the league do not have an answer for him. You can game plan the run, you can game plan the pass, but you cant do both and that is what Robert is forcing teams to try. Then, once they have done their job the best they can, Griffin takes off around the corner and pops a 30 yard scramble.
You cant defend that. Griffin does all that and he is smart with the ball. He has only 3 picks in 7 games. I see him having less than 10 picks as a regular occurrence in seasons for this kid. He is also very good in the clutch and the team and coaches believe in him and put the game in his hands....and he delivers.
