We would likely have to use our 2nd or third rounder(if were lucky) to get this guy..
DaQuan Jones, DT, Penn State Height: 6-3. Weight: 318. Projected 40 Time: 5.25. Projected Round (2014): 2-3. 1/11/14: In recent years, Penn State has produced a few good defensive tackle prospects in Devon Still and Jordan Hill. Jones is the latest tackle who could go on the second day of the draft. The senior impressed in 2013. He picked up 53 tackles with 11.5 tackles for a loss and three sacks. Jones has some quickness and pass-rush ability. He puts more heat on the quarterback than his sack total indicates.
Jones started next to Hill in 2012 and recorded 22 tackles with .5 sacks. Jones had eight tackles as a backup in 2011.
Teamwork is not a preference .It's a requirement... John Wooden
scary thing is, there's going to be a fair amount of good players that are available who are going to drop, thanks to the glut of underclassman coming in and you never know who may fall and who is going to be addressing what need. In a way, it's a great year to have a bunch of weaknesses because it's a pretty good bet, that there should be someone around to help fill it. The big issue/question is, what do the coaches perceive to be our most glaring need and is the position stocked with good candidates, from everything I've seen, there's a good number of defensive players available and imho, we have needs everywhere, DL, LB and defensive backfield. We should be able to find help there, although if someone like Lee drops, I wouldn't be shocked to see us take him.
cooley47: Goff continues to stink. The D has done their job.

rskin72: The Lambs O just cannot get into sync. Limited rush attack, and Goff is not in any rhythm at all

rskin72: sooner or later the Lambs D will give...or they will make a big play. Either way the Lambs D right now has to win the game for the team

cooley47: No guarantee you ever get back to this game. Sorry but Goff can’t get it done. McVay should consider getting a veteran QB in offseason.

SkinsTim: A first round pick for a guy that was terrible last year and his team is ready to move on from? No chance. They'll be luck to get a 2nd or a 3rd. I'd give up a 2nd for him and call it a day.
