I guess it depends on how you view the team.
IMO, this is pretty much the same old, same old we've seen since forever. Players can "talk" about this being a different team all they want. I've heard that talk for over two decades. Yet, somehow, season after season, the same mistakes are made, the same old tired cliche's about "learning from this loss" and "We can play with anyone. We know we're a good football team. We just have to clean up the mental mistakes, and to a man, look in the mirror", are still being mentioned by the players all season long.
We've got a nonexistent run game AND run defense. We have a lack of playmakers on the team. An occasional DJax play and Reed. That's it. We have no pass rush. We have no coaches capable of changing things up and being creative on either side of the ball, as Brian Mitchell pointed out today after the game. These problems are habitual. They are real. And they are NOT getting fixed.
We have won 1 game on the road during Gruden's tenure. Inexcusable. That is horrible coaching. We are terrible in the division (outside of 2012, which was an aberration) when things are "still attainable" and our "goals are still in front of us".
It would be extremely out of the ordinary for this team to not go on a season-ending slide after this game. Until they actually prove that they are indeed a different team on the field, then I see no reason not to expect us to win 2 games or less the rest of the way. I hardly see how that expectation is crazy or to be frowned upon in any way, shape, or form.
