...thanks Jan...heard of it just haven't had a chance to get down there...have to make the pilgrimage...daughter has a dance competition in Towson at the end of the month maybe I'll check it out... I go there all the time. It’s a huge store and only place I’ve gone the last couple decades, except for generic supples. I got a steal in a leaking 150 gallon tank that I had to re-seal. Raised several crops of bait fish in it for fishing the bay. Then raised several generations of guppies until an alleged safe too Fish algae killer wiped out my school of guppies. Now, as for Salt tanks, House of Tropicals has the crew to answer questions. Store is almost as big as one half of a football field. 1/6th of the store is non fish. 1/6th -2/6th of store is equipment and miscellaneous supples. The remaining 4/6th of the store is mix of fresh and salt species. With less then half of 1/6th set aside for plants. Don’t make trip unless your willing to spend some money. Call them first with what your interests are so you don’t show up after they’ve sold out. Every time I’m in area and have some free time, I go in, walk around and think. I’m 4 months into letting my fresh 150 gal tank re establish itself after additive fiasco mistake I made. All my fault. Next step, snails to feed on algae, next year I’ll think about what fish I want. Long term goal will be a couple off $200.00 to $300.00 Angel Fish.
