I was astonished also that there was no mention of Jerry Smith. Just shows you how easily it is to totally wipe out some History of TE's and the beginning era of the 60's with TE's making huge impacts with the pass receiving aspect of the game. Unfortunately, as time continues to pass, he is all but forgotten by those players and historians that followed him.
Jerry was and is the greatest TE to play for this team. He was one of my favorite players and remains the most egreciously overlooked HOF-worthy player along with Lenny Haus.
Jerry will never be forgotten.
One writes out of one thing only—one’s own experience. Everything depends on how relentlessly one forces from this experience the last drop, sweet or bitter, it can possibly give. This is the only real concern of the artist, to recreate out of the disorder of life that order which is art. - James Baldwin

RUsknFan: We desperately need one of the Sims or Quinn or Richardson to show up--and it's imperative that CT isn't seriously injured.

RUsknFan: Great win guys. I know it was against Miami, and I know we won by the skin of our teeth, but we looked like a different team today--a professional outfit. Not one Oline penalty.
