Have you been watching the last 20 years?
In games of this type for the Skins : coming off a loss, last game that looks very winnable, to a bad team with a rookie QB and with murderer's row of a schedule left, the Skins have typically let the "bad" team go down on their first or second drive and score, giving them life. The rest of the game may be close, be then we find a way to lose it because we gave our opponent belief. Then we have been unable to recoup any momentum the rest of the year and collapse.
That's our history and it's absolutely irrefutable.
Now, I'm not saying that THIS team will follow suit. All I'm saying is that a TD there and it would by typical of us to let it give them life and beat us. And then we go on a season collapse. Happens year after year after year. And it's gonna take results to change that gunshy mentality.
That's ALL I'm saying, and it's not an "out there" statement. It is perfectly sane considering our history.

Feel bad for Beck: he's finally getting his legit shot and he has no left side of his line to protect him and he's got an extremely suspect offensive coordinator who may or may not give a darn about helping him out; instead he may be more in love with forcing his QB to run the offense EXACTLY how he wants. Not what we need right now.
